Catching Up...

We have had lots of changes at our house lately. Jackson now weighs 10.6 pounds, and is 22 1/2 inches long. He is smiling, cooing, and focusing on the world around him. Rod just finished up his internship and is waiting to hear about a job. I have one week left before I return to work and Rod takes over as house dad. We have experienced many firsts over the past few weeks as well.


Jack had his first bath in his tub. He loved it until...









we had to get him out and then he cried at the top of his lungs!!!












Jackson's first smile was caught on camera. This is also his monthly photo shoot with his bearbunny.






Jackson's had his first bottle with his daddy. He struggled a little at first but once he realized milk came out he did okay. He also tried a binky for the first time as he looked up at his daddy.









He continues to love his bath in his tub (he enjoys a swim in the big tub even more.) This one was with Grandma Kathy and Great Grandma Mackey.








Jack went to Tequila's(one of our favorite restaurants in Waterloo) for his first time while Grandma Kathy, Grandpa Kent and Great Grandma Mackey were visiting. Rod is with us to-he is the photographer.






No that's not a bruise on his cheek, it's a leftover kiss from Grandma Kathy-not to be his last I'm sure. The next day he was miserable, I think he missed his Grandma's and Grandpa!!
