Visitors Visitors Visitors!!

We have been so lucky to have so many people from my family out to see Jack. Grandma Kathy was her for the birth and stayed for the first week and a half. Aunt Kandyce and Jack's cousins Emily and Hana came next. Then Uncle Ron made a short stop on his way home from a conference. Grandpa Kent, Grandma Kathy and Great Grandma Mackey came next for a week and just left this past Sunday. We know it isn't easy or cheap to come 1500 miles but it is greatly appreciated. We are so thankful to be able to start Jackson's life with so many wonderful memories with his family. THANK YOU!!! -I must stop here because I'm crying and I can't see what I'm typing :)

Grandma Kathy the day Jackson was born. We are so glad it worked out that you were here for the birth. Thanks for all your help!!

Aunt Kandyce enjoying looking at Baby Jack. I didn't get any pictures of her face while she was holding the baby, she was always looking at Jack :)
Thanks for helping us celebrate Easter and make it a family event with a full dinner and everything!!

Cousin Emily enjoying holding Jackson while watching some Disney show. I couldn't get her to change any poopy diapers but she was sure willing to hold Jackson any time. Thanks!!

Cousin Hana also enjoyed holding Jackson whenever she could. There were a few disputes over how long each one got to hold the baby. Thanks for all your help Hana!!

Uncle Ron's chin was not a replacement boob however Jack tried and tried to latch on to it. I think he knew it wasn't quite right when he felt all those whiskers!! Ron also got the privilege of bouncing around a pee soaked baby through the grocery store. Thanks!!!

Great Grandma Mackey enjoyed holding baby Jackson whenever she wasn't making me pot holders-my favorite kind!!! She got to see a few baths and take a trip with us to the doctor for Jacks one month check up. Thanks for all your help Grandma!!!

Grandma Kathy back again. I don't think she will make it much longer before she makes another trip out. She was able to give Jack a bottle and bounce him around the house several times. I think Jack missed his Grandma's constant attention on Monday after they left. Thanks Again Mom!!

Grandpa Kent enjoyed holding Jack a little bit and Jack enjoyed him. But you can't keep Grandpa Kent sitting still for long. He did a list of Rod's chores including fixing a gutter, putting up our stair railing, hanging a light, putting on a door handle, fixing another light and putting up drip trays on our roof. Did I leave anything out?? Now what will Rod do with all his spare time?? Thanks for all your help Dad!!!

Darci and Rod, he's just adorable! I'm sure you're enjoying the daily changes and more awareness of his surroundings. Much luck to you in the coming month for getting sleep and back to work for a bit. Take care--can't wait to meet my new nephew!

How adorable! I had very fun holding him. I remember that me and my cousin, Emily would hold Jackson every hour of the day! Emily was more willing to hold Jackson than she usually is. As strange as it sounds, It was only my second time on an airplane! It was a very fun experience to see and hold Jackson(and of course my airplane ride)! Me and Emily love you very much,"Little Jack"! -Hana
