We were so excited to have my mom come and stay with us for a week. Jack was in heaven the entire week. Who wouldn't be with constant attention to your every desire. Peek-a-boo, stories, rocking, many verses of here we go round the mulberry bush, bubbles, shopping cart rides, videos, walks, baths every night, necklaces, book marks, emery boards or whatever else Grandma can find that you love and shouldn't have. It was so great to have her here and very hard to see her go. We enjoyed cheesy potatoes for a week and hot chocolate chip cookies every night. Thanks Grandma Kathy for everything!! Rod was even able to take some time off studying for a few games of cards. Grandma Kathy even got to enjoy some firsts. Jackson is now sitting in a high chair, he is sitting pretty well on his own, he is rolling from his back to his stomach, he started cereal, and he has found his toes and figured out how to put them in his mouth. Here are somepics of his latest accomplishments.

First shopping cart ride.

I found my toes and I'm gonna eat them!!!

Is this supposed to taste good??

Thanks for the nice comments. I was in heaven being there with Jackson. He is so engaging that he reinforces all my efforts. I miss him so much. And I miss you too. Tell Rod I can't wait to beat him at Aggravation again.
Love, Mom
cheesey potatoes, cookies & peek a boo? I want grandma Kathy to come stay at my house! Jack is getting so big...he changes in every set of pictures you post!
Way to be on the ball. So here it goes, my first post. First, cheesy potatoes? Chocolate chip cookies? I live here and I don't get those. Jack looks so cute, he'll be a little man before I see him again. Tell him to slow down and give him a big kiss from me.
I'm soooo glad you posted a new blog!!! (I've been waiting for a while) j/k You have a quick little guy, Whitni is just now sitting up on her own. Each kid is so different. Take care.
